Haslemere Food Festival

Surrey Sculpture Society trail at RHS Wisley

As you walk around Wisley in late summer, you’ll find some inspirational sculptures amongst the planting – you are on the Surrey Sculpture Society Trail.

Enjoy this unique art experience with over 60 sculptures by some of the South East’s finest established and emerging artists.

The sculptures are crafted from stone, metal, bronze, resin, glass, ceramic, wood and found objects.  Contemporary or traditional – which is your favourite? Simply pick up a trail map from the garden entrance to start exploring this fascinating trail.

All sculptures are available to buy at a range of prices. Visit the Surrey Sculpture Society stand in the Loggia by the canal for more information on the exhibits.

Wey River Festival

Come down to Dapdune Wharf and bring the family, we've got boats and bouncy castles, party lights and sausages not to mention crafts, edible goodies, have a go sessions and boat trips, all to celebrate everything that's great about the river...

Boats will be moored around Dapdune Wharf for the weekend. There will be lots of entertainment with stalls and activities, such as children's crafts, a climbing wall, Surrey Wood Turners and a chance to have a go at willow weaving. At dusk there will be an illuminated pageant with the brightly coloured boats going up to Millmead and back, accompanied by Croydon Steel Orchestra. While you wait for the boats to appear, Guildford Astronomical Society will show you the night sky.

Fairground at Night - Hollycombe Museum

Surrey Game & Country Fair

The Surrey Game and Country Fair is a fantastic opportunity for families to experience rural life in Surrey.

The Fair brings together all manner of rural activities including clay shooting, gun dogs, falconry, terrier racing, hounds, sheep dogs, vintage tractors, a food hall and food theatre, tractor and horse ploughing and spectacular main ring entertainment. Something for every member of the family.

The Fair is held in the stunning setting of Loseley Park. Just minutes from Guildford and the A3, the Fair welcomes up to 10,000 visitors each year.

Pilgrim Harps Open Day

We are a harp workshop that has been hand-making harps for 30 years in South Godstone. Our aim for the day is to give people a taster of the harp world and encourage harpists to spend a day together in the sun (hopefully!).

On the 24th September 2017, we are having our annual open day. The day is completely FREE, including free parking, open to all ages and you can come and try a harp, explore the workshop, hear a fantastic collection of harpists perform throughout the day and enjoy a BBQ.

Open Day on Great Cockrow Railway

The Great Cockcrow Railway is open every Sunday from 7th May until 29th October. We operate from 1.30pm till 5.00pm with the booking office closing at 4:45pm.

We will also be running on Wednesdays from 2nd to 30th August. Trains run from 1:00pm till 4:00pm, with the last tickets being sold at 3.45pm.

Lazy Jazz Sundays at Polesden Lacey
