Get Surrey reports: It's 10 years today since student Jack Dorsey, Evan Williams, Biz Stone and Noah Glass came up with Twitter, which was originally created as a way to send text messages to a group of people.

Since then, the social media site has taken the world by storm and it's now a way to share information, break news, campaign and show support via hashtags, debate and snowball trends.
