They do a nice little children's menu here. My five-year-old loved the meatballs, to the point where she called the restaurant “the meatball restaurant, my favourite restaurant”. She kept asking to go back there – no pun intended.
My prawn and capers dish was so yummy I craved it for ages afterwards and eventually had to try to recreate it at home, with reasonable success!
It was a shame, however, that when we went back and tried to repeat the experience a year later, it didn't quite live up to the legend. There was obviously a different chef on that day. There was nothing really wrong with the food, it was just nowhere near as amazing.
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the service is fine. It has always been quiet when we have been there, probably because we go in at tea-time rather than in the evening, because of the children.
