We know some of you really won’t want to think about Christmas just yet, but here’s our top tip: tickets for Santa’s grottos sell out really early so it’s worth planning this in advance if nothing else.
We’ve contacted the elves to get details of all the places you can see Father Christmas in Surrey this year. Most of them do need booking quite far in advance. Please let us know if you hear of any more that we have missed…
When: Dec 3 11am - 3pm
Cost: £3 - no need to book
Santa will be at the museum as part of the Christmas market. Visit him and receive a small gift.
He will also be at the museum from December 21-13 in his Victorian parlour for some last minute visitors.
Santa Specials at The Rural Life Centre
When: Dec 9 & 10, 16 & 17
Cost: £12.50 per child and £7.50 per adult
Take a ride on a train, see some live animals and the toy workshop before meeting Santa and getting a small gift.

Santa Specials on The Watercress Line

See Santa on a magical steam train ride on the scenic Watercress Line and receive a gift. There is white wine and mince pies for the grown-ups and soft drinks and a gingerbread man for the children!

Squire’s Garden Centres

Santa in the Crystal Grotto at Painshill Park

Santa’s Grotto at Chessington Garden Centre

Enjoy a journey through ice and snow with eskimos and penguins before entering a wild countryside scene of toadstools, willow trees and fairies. The sweet aroma of gingerbread leads you on through Santa's very special bakery and a world full of sweet treats before ending in a wonderfully wacky world and your passage to your own personal meeting with Father Christmas.

Santa Fir Christmas Tree Farm

Meet Santa and post your letters in the Christmas post box. You can pick your own Christmas tree at the same time and little ones can ride on the Santa Express to see the reindeer.
Santa’s Cellar Grotto at Denbies
